How to Use New Century Television

New Century Television is arranged by channels.Start by visiting New Century Television's Master Control to select your channel.

Each New Century Television operates in much the same way. On the upper left of the screen is the New Century TV logo. Click on the logo to visit Master Control.

Below the logo, you'll find the menu. Simply click on a PLAY button to watch a segment. Soem menus include buttons to other menus. For example, to see all of the segments on a particular channel, click on the MAIN MENU button, located at the top and bottom of every graphic menu.

You may explore the menus while any video is playing.

When you click on a red PLAY button, the current video will stop playing and will be replaced by the newly selected segment.

To the right of the menu is the video player. This is where the video plays. Below it is the control bar. When a video plays, the left button below the screen can be toggled to play or pause the current video. The small button beside it is a stop button. To watch a video that you have stopped, click on the play button on the menu or the large play button. The small green slider indicates the video's playback progress. The slider can be dragged to any point within the video. If the slider is dragged ahead of the green background color, be patient until the more of the video file loads.

At the top of the control bar, you'll see the name of the current segment, and the elapsed playback time. If the video is loading, you will see the word "loading." If the video is playing, you will see the word "playing."

Just above the word "help," you'll see an indication of your connection speed: good, fair, or poor connection. If you consistently experience a poor connection, the word help will light up.

When you click on help, you will be taken through a series of screens to diagonose the health of your connection.
